The German atomic project, better known under the monicer »The Uranium Club« was a project of German physicists during the Second World War to create a atomic reactor.

The same time, the allied countries lived under the conviction, that Germany was developing its own atomic bomb.

British and US members of the Alsos mission dismantle the test reactor in the cellar under the Felsenkirche church in Haigerloch, Baden-Württemberg.
